For those who would like to take some time off their studies, to relax, have a out-campus life experiences, lunch, cinemas and shoppping. Suria KLCC Mall is one of the pitstop for IIUM students. (www.suriaklcc.com.my/)
This Mall is situated right below Petronas Twin Tower. The Petronas Twin Towers (also known as the Petronas Towers or just Twin Towers), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are twin towers and were the world's tallest buildings before being surpassed by Taipei 101. However, the towers are still the tallest twin buildings in the world. They were the world's tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004 if measured from the level of the main entrance to the structural top, the original height reference used by the US-based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat from 1969 (three additional height categories were introduced as the tower neared completion in 1996). You can even plan a trip to the skybridge by getting a ticket inside the mall. TIPS: Come early in the morning to queue up for tickets, though you only get to go up the skybridge later during the day.
Another interesting spot in the area is the park.Above is the view of the park from the Skybridge. - Reminder this is a daily ticket, ergo keep the ticket for your return.
- Take LRT from Terminal Putra to KLCC (RM +/-2.5)
- Walk away from the terminal, it will lead you straight to the Mall. (It's connected)
Have a pleasant KLCC-ing...
